Gus and Sam didn’t set out to build a dog-treat company. They set out to find chews worthy of their names. When nothing met their standard, we decided to make our own.
HOW IT STARTED
It started in our kitchen.With two very opinionated
taste testers.
We tried a lot of chews. Gus tried them fast. Sam took his time. Most didn't make the cut.
They wanted something natural, satisfying, and made with ingredients we could feel good about.
So we got to work.
WE SEARCHED
We searched for chews with simple, high-quality ingredients.
THEY TESTED
NOTHING PASSED
If it didn't earn their approval, it didn't make the lineup.
SO WE MADE OUR OWN
A better chew, for dogs who deserve better.
MEET THE BOARDROOM
Around here, management takes product development seriously.
Gus is our Chief Taste Officer. He believes product testing should begin immediately.
Sam is our Head of Quality Control. He evaluates everything—carefully.
Together, they lead the Gus & Sam team and oversee every decision we make.
